Artists & Designers

Every Vestiges towel is created through significant collaboration between Vestiges Inc. and young pioneers in design and illustration at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design’s professional studio, DesignWorks. DesignWorks is committed to providing the next generation of artists, illustrators, and designers the best professional opportunities for creativity and innovation.

DesignWorks' mission is to work with external clients to train and expand each student's skill set so they are able to enter the job market with real-world project and client experiences. The special partnership between Vestiges and these young artists has become an exceptional illustration of an outstanding collaboration, one that has created exclusive, innovative designs that are functional, beautiful and highly collectible.

With a strong sense of fantasy and whimsy, Kelsey’s illustrations strive for an elegance that is inspired in history, myth and fairy tales. She uses a high level of detail, texture and pattern to create a visual appeal that at times contrasts with darker content.
